Rape Prevention and Education
The Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) is a grant program of the US Centers of Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC). The program aims to strengthen sexual violence prevention efforts by supporting increased awareness, education and training, and hotline operation. The purpose of this program is to award formula grants to states and territories to be used for rape prevention and education programs conducted by rape crisis centers, state sexual assault coalitions, and other public and private nonprofit entities.
