PAVE THE WAY

P.A.V.E THE WAY
The Girl Scouts of the USA (the national organization) launched a program called “P.A.V.E (Project Anti-Violence Education) The Way” with funding from the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to teach girls ages 5 to 17 to recognize and address violence at home and in their neighborhoods. The four main topics of programming for councils who receive P.A.V.E. grants are: internet safety, bullying prevention/intervention, gang prevention, and crime prevention.

P.A.V.E. also offers a Healthy Relationships Resource series, which is entitled: Sister to Sister: The Darker Side of Friendship (for Cadettes)
